Construction of the winding tower for the shaft hoisting plant Konrad 2 - test assembly of the tower base part
After several years of planning, at the end of May on the site of SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH, the base part of the winding tower was test-assembled.
As a subcontractor to SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH, IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH provides a major part of the associated engineering services.
Once completed, the winding tower will have a base area of 20 metres x 23 metres and an external height of 42 metres. The scope of delivery encompasses the complete structural shell including roof and face, an internal staircase and lift shaft as well as electrical and machine platforms.
The scope of services provided by IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH includes project planning, design as well as static and dynamic calculations.
